On the afternoon of May 12, the college held a seminar on “Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Project Application and Construction” in the 506 meeting room. The college invited Associate Professor Du Baojiang, the deputy dean of the Institute of Virtual Manufacturing Technology of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and the director of the Institute of Digital Design and Manufacturing of the School of Mechanical Engineering, to give a special report. Vice President Zhang Zheng presided over the seminar. Heads of various departments, virtual simulation experiment teaching project team and members of the Academic Affairs Office attended the seminar.

Associate Professor Du Baojiang started from the background of the establishment of virtual simulation experimental teaching construction projects in the country, and elaborated on the basic principles of virtual simulation experimental teaching project declaration, experimental project level, project team construction, experimental teaching methods, experimental project operating environment, etc., and used Typical cases are demonstrated on site. At the same time, in accordance with the discipline characteristics and professional attributes of the Business School, suggestions were made to promote the construction of virtual simulation experiment teaching in our school.

Participants conducted in-depth interactions around the construction of virtual simulation experiment teaching for economic management and new engineering majors, and deepened the understanding of virtual simulation experiment teaching to improve the quality of undergraduate talent training. Deputy Dean Zhang Zheng made a concluding speech, pointing out that the college will further promote the in-depth integration of information technology and experimental teaching, continuously strengthen the construction, application and sharing of high-quality experimental teaching resources, and strive to create a “golden course” in experimental teaching.
