The Department of international trade held a seminar on “regional economy and international economy”

On the afternoon of November 18, at the invitation of the Department of international economics and trade, Professor Zeng Gang, President of the Institute of urban development of East China Normal University, director of China modern city research center of the key research base of Humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of education, and Professor Li Zhiyuan of Shanghai Shuguang scholar, young Yangtze River scholar of the Ministry of education, and Professor Li Zhiyuan, Department of world economics, School of economics, Fudan University, visited our college The 506 conference room of the college makes a special academic report. Professor Luo Fang, director of the Department of international trade, delivered a speech and Professor Gu Yiquan presided over the meeting.

First of all, Professor Li Zhiyuan gave a keynote speech on “international trade related research and fund application”. At the meeting, Professor Li introduced the whole process of journal paper writing to teachers and students based on his own experience in writing and publishing international trade related papers. Professor Li especially emphasizes the importance of “problem-oriented” in the writing of papers. When writing journal papers, we should focus on Problems and solve them, so as to make academic research effective. In addition, only by reading relevant journal papers with questions can we really have a definite target.

After that, Professor Zeng Gang gave a keynote report on “German regional innovation policy and its implications for the development of Yangtze River Delta”. Professor Zeng first introduced the actual situation of regional innovation in Germany, and deeply analyzed the impact of regional innovation policy on Germany and the EU as a whole. Then, combined with the current development of the Yangtze River Delta, the regional development policies suitable for China’s national conditions are given. Among them, one belt, one road, and the other one, how to make good use of Shanghai as a locomotive for the development of the Yangtze River Delta region, has been emphasized by Professor Zeng.

In the question and answer session of the meeting, in view of the “fund writing and declaration” and other issues that young teachers are more concerned about, Professor Li and Professor Zeng answered one by one based on their own years of evaluation experience, which aroused strong repercussions from the teachers and students present.
