----Inheriting a century of culture and advancing the joint construction of banks and schools
On the afternoon of October 24th, the party Committee of Business School and the party Committee of the Bank of China Shanghai Yangpu Subbranch, also the opening ceremony of the Talent Training Practice Base of Business School of USST, held a grand ceremony in the Office building of Bank of China, located in No. 23 Middle Shandong Road.
The party secretary of Shanghai Yangpu Subbranch, also the bank’s governor Zhixiang JIANG, party committee, also the bank’s deputy governor of LiHua BAI, Lei TANG, governor of Baotou Road Subbranch Wei qi SHANG, governor of Jiamusi Road Subbranch Qing GONG, party secretary of Business School Wei WANG, deputy secretary Xiuwen YAO, and deputy dean of Business School Chunming YE, Yongqing ZHANG, Zheng ZHANG, jointly attended this event.
Also present at the opening ceremony were Tingting OUYANG, deputy director of the Yangpu Subbranch office of the Bank of China, Beining HUANG, deputy director of the Personal Finance Department, Qujian WANG, organizer of the Business School Party Committee, Chen FENG, deputy director of the executive office, and several teachers.
Before the opening ceremony, the Business School delegation visited the Exhibition Hall of bank of China, a patriotic education base, led by Zhixiang JIANG. After the visit, the opening ceremony was held in a conference room on the 15th floor. Wei WANG expressed her deep appreciation to Bank of China for the strong support to the development of Business school. She was deeply touched after visiting the Exhibition Hall and studying the history of Bank of China. She said that the century-old history of the Bank was also an epitome of the modern financial history, and had witnessed the ‘great journey’ of our nation’s self-reliance, toward the world and toward its renaissance. Then, Zhixiang JIANG and Wei WANG, jointly unveiled the talent training practice base of the Business School.
With “mission and responsibility” as the topic, the two sides have conducted intense and in-depth study and discussion on the development of artificial intelligence, technology and finance, the construction of free trade zone, as well as talent training and social services, etc. centering on their core businesses. It was agreed that both parties had a history of more than 100 years of cultural heritage, and consequently should continue to bear in mind their missions and responsibilities, carry out practical cooperation, serve the society, and light up the “Chinese dream” with “financial dream” and “talent dream”.
