In order to further improve the level of students’ paper writing, to understand the review process of high-level journals, and to promote cross-disciplinary research, Dr. Yang XIA, the current academic editor of “Nature Communications” (London), came to Business School to give an academic report on September 19th. The theme of the report was “Overview and Cross-research of Nature and Nature Communications, writing and publishing tips for top journals”.
Professor Chunming YE, vice dean of the Business School, expressed his gratitude to Dr. XIA. He hoped that the students could improve their paper-writing, pay attention to international hot research, promote exchanges of different disciplines through this report, and achieve higher academic achievements in their future study. Dr. XIA first introduced the overall structure of the “Nature” publishing group, as well as the nuances of the research directions of each sub-journal, which put forward suggestions for the author’s submission. She gave serious and comprehensive answers to the questions raised by teachers and students, which won warm applause from all of them.
This academic report was co-organized by the Energy, Environment and Economic Research Association, and was also the third in the series of academic reports on “International Journal Editor-in-Chief” of the Association. The report provided new directions and guidance for students to understand the review process of top journals, create new research ideas, and improve academic quality.
