Yue Minnan , Deputy Director of Student Affairs Department and Director of Funding Management Center of University of Shanghai for Science & Technology, Kang Zhen, National Channel Director of Royal DSM Group of Netherlands and Visiting Professor of Harbin Engineering University, and Pu Yingying, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Business School attended the opening ceremony. Kang Zhen, National Channel Director of Royal DSM Group of Netherlands and Visiting Professor of Harbin Engineering University, brought the first lecture Building Your Own Ability to the students. Professor Kang started with What is Work and Merit, and based on three stages: learning extensively when entering the workplace, practicing intensively for many years, and learning erudite when returning to the original point, explained the importance and ways to build the knowledge, skills and talents of the triad ability, and encouraged everyone to make efforts to accumulate and pave the way for each step by deep study and cultivating six kinds of spirits. Professor Kang's simple and humorous lectures aroused many resonances among the teachers and students present. I was deeply encouraged by attending today's opening ceremony.
