Big shot gather in Shanghai Management Science Forum ——talk about management reform in the digital economy era

On December 19th, the 2020 Shanghai Management Science Forum, an annual event in the field of management science in China, was grandly opened in Shanghai Film Art Centre. This forum focuses on technology-driven management change, sponsored by Shanghai Institute of Management Sciences, and jointly organized by more than 20 business schools (schools of management and economics and management) in the Yangtze River Delta region, including University of Shanghai for Science & Technology. More than 700 guests, including deans from universities and business schools across the country, well-known scholars and leading figures in the digital field, gathered together to talk about the management change in the digital economy era and start a new journey for China's management science.

The main guests attending the forum were: Wang Fanghua, Chairman of Shanghai Management Science Organizing Committee and former Dean of Antai College of economics & management of Shanghai Jiaotong University; Wang Hong, Chairman of Shanghai Management Science Society and Dean of China Europe International Business School; Zhu Xiaoming, Professor and former Dean of China Europe International Business School; Li Renhan, Distinguished Dean of Institute of Strategic Studies of Shanghai University and Chief Consultant of Institute of Artificial Intelligence of Shanghai Jiaotong University; Zhao Shuming ,Honorary Dean of Business School of Nanjing University, Dean of Xingzhi College of Nanjing University; Wu Xiaobo ,distinguished professor of Qiushi College of Zhejiang University, former Dean of School of Management of Zhejiang University; Mao Jiye, Dean of Business School of Renmin University of China ; Li Zheng, Chief Consulting Director of ICT of Huawei's government and enterprise business in China ; Lv Tingjie, Vice Chairman of China Information Economics Association and former Dean of School of Economics and Management of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Jiang Yuewei, Chairman of Xiejin Education Group. Present at University of Shanghai for Science & Technology were Professor Zhang Zheng, Associate Dean of Business School; He Jianjia, Associate Dean; Professor Fan Chongjun, Director of Smart Engineering Research Center; Professor Yang Huijie, Oriental scholar; and Dr. Zhou Yiwei, Autopilot scholar.

In addition, Professor Zhang Zheng attended the Dean's Association on behalf of the Business School as the co-organizer of the Forum, and Professor Fan Chongjun was invited to attend the 2020 Annual Meeting of the Global Doctor of Business Administration Association.

This forum consists of a main forum and 17 sub-forums, which are hosted by 20universities and business schools across the country. Through the sharing of unique themes, the results of management education theory and practice are displayed, and knowledge and practice are integrated. Among them, the sub-forum with the theme of Artificial Intelligence Technology and Industry sponsored by the Business school, University of Shanghai for Science &Technology was successfully held on the afternoon of the same day. The forum was presided over by Professor Fan Chongjun. Professor Yang Huijie, Dr. ZhouYiwei and Professor Fan gave speeches on the topic of artificial intelligence respectively. The sub-forum directly hit the hot topic of artificial intelligence, and the scene was packed.

Professor Yang Huijie, with the title of Chaotic Synchronization Research under Artificial Intelligence, introduced the research work being carried out by the research group, that is, training the neural network of storage computing with chaotic system. The research results show that the synchronization between chaotic system and storage calculation, storage calculation and storage calculation can be successfully realized through training. This achievement can be used to track, predict and regulate the state of complex systems such as management, finance and physiology.

The topic of Dr. Zhou Yiwei's speech is Analysis and Thinking on Road Test of Autopilot Policy. In his speech, the policies of autonomous driving road test in Beijing, Shanghai and other places were emphatically introduced, and the similarities and differences of policies in different places were analyzed. At the same time, the policies issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology at the national level and the policies of California in the United States were introduced. In addition, he also introduced his work in the test and evaluation system of automatic driving and the establishment of automatic driving standards.

Finally, Professor Fan Chongjun gave a speech on the theme of Analysis of the Development Status of Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence Related Industries in China (2019-2020). This introduces the relevant data of China's development in the past two years, including: the development of China's artificial intelligence industry, the new development of artificial intelligence technology to help many industries, and the development of some artificial intelligence enterprises; China's digital economy development, China's industrial Internet and intelligent manufacturing, cloud computing and big data enabling economic development, China's blockchain technology development and application, etc.

With the successful conclusion of 17 sub-forums, the 2020 Shanghai Management Science Forum ended successfully. Business School, University of Shanghai for Science & Technology, after holding the sub-forum of Theory and Technology of Blockchain at the Shanghai Management Science Forum in2019, successfully held the sub-forum of Artificial Intelligence Technology and Industry this year to help the key transformation of enterprise growth mode under the digital economy and intelligent economy.
