On October 28th, the first Shanghai University Student System Simulation Modeling Case Competition hosted by Shanghai System Engineering Society, the Business School, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology officially opened. After serious selection, 29 teams from East China Normal University and other universities won awards.

The competition invited three professors, Yan Guangle, Li Xingye and Zhang Ning, from the Systems Science Department, as judges. After repeated discussion and evaluation, 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes and 14 third prizes were finally selected, with a total of 29 outstanding teams (see attachment for details).

System simulation modeling is widely used in theoretical research and practice of various specific disciplines and fields, which advocates the use of system science to solve complex system problems and encourages systematic innovation. This competition has stimulated the enthusiasm of college students to study complex system problems, improved their level of system simulation modeling, and exercised their ability of system analysis and integration. The successful holding of this competition has won unanimous praise from teachers and students.
