Recently ,the Ministry of Education announced the “The decision to reward the 8th Outstanding Achievement Award of Scientific Research in colleges (in the area of humanistic and social science)”.Through the judge by the expert ,the public informed and the deliberation of the award commitment and permission of the Ministry of Education, there are 1539 achievements has win the prize,among which there are 1241 win the publications reward which conclude 152 first prize ,783 second prize and 306 third price; 77 win the report of consultation ,which conclude 10 first prize ,47 second prize ,20 third prize ;20 win the popular prize ;201 win the youth achievement award.”Five basic institution structures and institutional economics”written by Sun Shaorong in our school wins the second prize ,which is the first winner in our school.
The institutional design has widely applications,however ,for many years it has largely rely on human’s intuition and experience which lead to the poor scientificity in the design of the investigation.The question above is the challenge in the region of institutional design.Sun Shaorong has explored for more than 20 years and build the model to describe the institutional design. He has also obtained many scientific conclusions and new findings which are difficult to obtain only relying on traditional speculative analysis. These research results provide important scientific theoretical basis for the government's social and economic management and guidance.
In recent years, relying on the construction of a high-level university, our university has continuously increased the funding for scientific research in the field of humanities and social sciences, and produced a number of high-quality scientific research achievements with innovative value and social influence. The second prize of the eighth Outstanding Achievement Award in Scientific Research (Humanities and Social Sciences) is a recognition of the value of scientific researchers in the field of humanities and social sciences in our university, and plays a positive role in guiding and promoting the development and prosperity of humanities and social sciences research in our university.
The Outstanding Achievement Award in Scientific Research (Humanities and Social Sciences) is raised by the Ministry of Education to reward for the outstanding achievements obtained by university philosophy social science workers. It shows the important theory and practice of the collage workers to service for party and national undertaking development, pushes to speed up the building of colleges and universities with Chinese characteristics a major measure for philosophy and social sciences. The award has been held eight times since its inception in 1995 and is awarded every three years. Due to the strict organization, fair procedure and fierce competition, the previous awards have high credibility and influence, and are regarded as important awards in the field of humanities and social sciences in China.
