EDP Center of USST | The enterprise simulation management ERP training project of Shanghai Keda Heat Treatment Plant is successfully concluded

December 19, the Enterprise Simulation Management ERP Training project of Shanghai Keda Heat Treatment Plant organized by the Executive Development Programs (EDP) Center of the Business School of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology(USST) was successfully concluded.

This training project was held at the National Demonstration Center of Experimental Teaching In Economics and Management, and the National Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center of the University of USST, and was lectured by Teacher Yu Mingliang, the deputy director of the National Demonstration Center of Experimental Teaching. Associate Professor Zhang Baoming, director of the Comprehensive Office of the EDP Center presided over the opening ceremony of this project. He briefly introduced the basic situation of the EDP Center of USST to the students and said that “COVID-19 certainly bring challenges to China’s economics and social development, but at the same time it also contributes to accelerating technological development, promoting the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure, and boosting corporate healthy development and has brought new opportunities. Governments and business people at all levels should conduct deep analysis, comprehensively weighing, accurately recognize changes, respond scientifically, and be good at capturing and creating opportunities from current crises and difficulties.

A total of 30 trainees in this enterprise simulation management ERP training project were mainly from Shanghai Keda Heat Treatment Plant. The project covers enterprise resources planning, enterprise management ERP sand table simulation, etc., so that students can go beyond the limitations of their positions, look at the operation of the enterprise from an overall perspective, and find opportunities for enterprise innovation and reform.
