Business School held Business Administration Discipline Development Meeting

On April 9, 2021, the Busines School held Business Administration Discipline Development Meeting in Conference Room 506. Professor Gu Baoyan, former director of the MBA Center of Business School, was invited to attend the meeting. Dean Zhao Laijun, Vice Dean Zhang Yongqing, Zhang Zheng, he Jianjia and Professor Ye Chunming attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Ye Chunming.

At the beginning of the meeting, Zhao Laijun first welcomed Professor Gu on behalf of the School and thanked Professor Gu's contribution to the development of the School. At the same time, he hoped that Professor Gu will put forward valuable suggestions for the development of business administration discipline.

Ye Chunming introduced the development of business administration discipline in recent years from the aspects of discipline construction and teachers' strength, especially the situation of applying for doctoral program in business administration at present.

Gu Baoyan said he had always been paying attention to the development of the School, especially the business administration discipline. He pointed out that the business administration, as an important discipline of the business school, should have its own characteristics. He also mentioned that the development of the discipline should not be built behind closed doors, but to go out to participate more in academic exchanges and communications, learn from others, and increase the influence of the discipline.

The teachers put forward their own opinions on the development of the discipline, and discussed the development of the discipline in depth. Discipline construction is related to the long-term development of the school and is the best way to enhance the level of running school, which is of great importance to strengthening the characteristics of professional training, promoting the construction and development of specialty and improving the quality of talent training and employment competitiveness.
