Recently, the industry-school construction negotiation, that is the plaque-awarding ceremony, between our school and Shanghai Eastern Air Supply Chain Management Co. Ltd. was held at 510 conference room. Xu Liang, Deputy Manager, Xu Yunfei, Manager, Hanxiao, Group Leader, Zhao Na, Assistant of the East Air, Zhang Zheng, Deputy Dean, Liu Qinming, Director of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Tai Yuhong, Deputy director, Zhou Yang, Deputy director of the Department of Business Administration, Wang Yonglian, Director of the professional degree education center, and Shu Yiming, Director of the undergraduate education affair office of our school attended the activity,
Zhang Zheng warmly welcomed the Eastern Air visiting group and sincerely appreciated the company’s strong support for the industry-school construction. He hoped to take this activity as an opportunity to promote the in-depth development of bilateral cooperation, and help our school to improve the quality of talents training achieving win-win results.
Xu Liang elaborated on the specific measures taken by the Eastern Air provide to support the industry-school construction, including the provision of internship and practice positions for students, the teaching of enterprise technical experts, the teaching of enterprise experts, and the development of teaching materials, etc. He pointed out that the company are confronting new challenges at present, and hoped the Business School provide supports in personnel training, product development, industry research, decision-making consultation, etc.
Based on the “grading evaluation standard for the modern industry-school construction”, Shu Yiming introduced the key parts of the industry-school construction of 2021. Liu Qinming summarized the preliminary results as well as the follow-up plans of the industry-school construction cooperation with the Eastern Air, and focused on improving the quality of industrial engineering talents training. Tai Yuhong put forward optimization suggestions to promote the industry-school cooperation in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain in combination with his personal practice experiences. Zhou Yang pointed out that logistics and supply chain is an important part of undergraduate education of business administration, and she expected to obtain supports of the Eastern Air for business talents training.

This activity helped to clarify the development direction, cooperation focus and implementation route of the industry-school plan, beneficial to continuously enhance the students’ ability to resolve industrial problems.
