On June 30, 2021, the 2021 EFMD & EFMD Global Network Annual General Assemblies was held online, and more than 60 famous business schools from all over the world participated in this online conference. Entrusted by Dean Zhao Laijun, the Vice Dean He Jianjia was invited to attend the conference on behalf of our school and expressed greetings and thanks to the participating members.
The main topics of this conference were the approval of new members of EFMD and EFMD GN, the financial report for 2020 and the financial budget for 2021, the activity report for 2020 and the schedule of activities for 2021. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Eric Cornuel, the President of EFMD and EFMD GN.
Prof. Huo Liangan, the assistant of Faculty Affairs, Han Bing, the administrator of Internationalization Construction Office, Tang Qingqing and Zheng Yaqin, the representatives of the Department of Business Administration, Zhou Yiwei and Lu Zhi, the representatives of the new faculty with overseas degrees, Gao Mengmeng, the secretary of Internationalization Construction Office, and other elevant teachers watched the conference live in Conference Room 510. After the conference, they exchanged and discussed on promoting the globalization of the school and international accreditations such as EQUIS.
In December 2020, our school became a full membership of EFMD and EFMD GN through the Membership Review Committee of EFMD and EFMD GN, which was the first time our school participating the EFMD and EFMD GN Global Annual Conference as one of members. The conference was originally scheduled to be held offline in June 2021, due to the impact of the epidemic, it was adjusted to be held online. By participating in this conference, the international visibility of the Business School has been further enhanced, and the communication and contact with other internationally renowned business schools have also been closely established. This laid a good foundation for seeking higher international cooperation opportunities and EQUIS accreditation work.
