The 18th MBA “Sunshine Cup” Sports Festival of the Sunshine Sports Organizing Committee was grandly held at the Hongguang Stadium in Baoshan District, Shanghai from Oct.16 to Oct.31, 2021.
A total of 13 higher education institutions conducting MBA programs participated in the event. They were University of Science and Technology of China, Antai School of Economics and Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Donghua University, Tongji University, China Europe International Business School, Shanghai Maritime University, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, East China Normal University, Shanghai International Studies University, Fudan University and East China University of Science and Technology.
The MBA team of USST-BS won the Best Organization Award after furious competitions. The event rung down the curtain on Oct.31.
Inspirited by the school motto“honesty, integrity, diligence, benevolence; learning, reflection, vision, aspiration”, all the 2021 MBA students, led and instructed by Vice-Dean ZHANG Zheng, the director of the MBA program, have actively participated in the opening ceremony and different sports.
In the opening ceremony, the slogan of sunshine sports, youth like fire, USST, courageously fighting and the brave and heroic attitude of the contestants all reflected the spirit of creativity, hardworking, and solidarity. In the arena, the team members demonstrated their high-spirited, hard-working and the charm of youth with impressive performance in the game of basketball, badminton, table tennis, tug-of-war, cheerleading, etc.
By participating in this Sunshine Cup, MBA students of USST-BS not only strengthened the physical fitness, but also enhanced the spirit of unity and improved class cohesion. The MBA students of USST will continue to cultivate themselves into qualified talents with the spirit of teamwork and competition to contribute to the socialist construction of China in the new era.
