On the morning of November 10, the award ceremony of 2021 Young Faculty Teaching Competition was held in Meeting Room 506. Mrs. WANG Wei, Party Secretary of BS-USST, Prof. ZHANG Zheng, Vice Dean of the School, the deputy directors of all departments, middle-aged and young faculty, and members of the undergraduate education office attended the event. The award ceremony was presided by Vice Dean ZHANG Zheng.
Prof. ZhANG Zheng introduced the processes and rules of the oung Faculty Teaching Competition, and announced the winners of the competition: WU Yan, SUN Yu, HUANG Zhongyi won the first prize, TAO Xiangming, HUANG Jing, XU Jiawen won the second prize, YANG Le, CHEN Mingli won the third prize. He encouraged the winners to make more efforts to strengthen basic teaching skill training and bold innovation, to develop some distinctive golden class WANG Wei, ZHANG Zheng and SHU Yiming presented the first, second and third prizes respectively to the winners.
On behalf of the management team of party and administration of the School, WANG Wei extended congratulations to the faculties who were awarded in the Young Faculty Teaching Competition. She pointed out that young faculty are the backbone of undergraduate education. The school attaches great importance to the growth of young faculty, and builds a platform through the teaching competition for young faculty to show style and exchange experience, promote the improvement of young faculty, and strive to build a high-quality team characterized with morality, professional skills and energy.
The ceremony created a strong atmosphere of promoting learning, teaching and reform through competition, further propelled the enthusiasm in young faculty to teach and be good teacher with faith, virtue, knowledge and kindness” in the new era, and helped the high-quality development of undergraduate education of the school.
