In order to further implement the spirit of the symposium between the main leaders of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology(USST) and Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau, be problem-oriented, focus on key difficulties, accurate docking, make efforts on the right point, steadily promote the preparation of the smart emergency management of the Business School(BS).
On the morning of December 17, on the basis of preliminary communication, led by the Dean of the Business School, Zhao Laijun, Vice Dean He Jianjia, assistant staff, Huo Liang’an, Fang Zhiming, Huang Zhongyi, Yang Pingle, Zhou Lixin, and School of Optical-Electrical and Computer Engineering, Wang Chaoli, Zhang Furong, Sun Zhanquan, Ai Jun, a total of 11 people went to Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau for docking research. Zhang Xingge, Director of planning science and technology branch of Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau warmly received Zhao Laijun’s team, and organized the discussion. Deputy director of the safety branch of the city emergency management bureau, Chen Shiling, a researcher at level 4 of the publicity and training division, Yu Guoping, a researcher at level 4 of the science and technology support division, Xie Gang, a chief clerk at level 1 Lv Yi, a chief clerk of Hazardous Chemicals Safety Supervision and Administration office at level 4, Xu Wei and other relevant leaders participated in the discussion.
At the symposium, Director Zhang Xingge first introduced the current problems confronted in the hazardous chemical management work, especially for the major hazard source risk monitoring and early warning model; then the relevant person in charge raised the difficult points in the work combined with the specific business.
After listening carefully to the introduction of the relevant departments of the Emergency Management Bureau, Dean Zhao Laijun analyzed the major problems existing in the current safety risk assessment of hazardous chemicals from a macro perspective, and put forward suggestions on the risk prediction and early warning based on the actual situation in Shanghai for hazardous chemicals. Vice Dean He Jianjia, Professor Wang Chaoli, Professor Huo Liang'an, Professor Zhang Furong, Professor Fang Zhiming, and Dr. Huang Zhongyi put forward their own opinions and suggestions on the management of hazardous chemicals and risk monitoring, prediction and early warning, combined with their respective research fields.
After the symposium, Dean Zhao Laijun and his group visited the emergency command hall of the Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau.
During the symposium, the emergency management team led by Professor Zhao Laijun, the control field team led by Professor Wang Chaoli, computer science field team led by Professor Chen Qingkui, instrument monitoring team led by Professor Yang Hui and other experts from our university, fully showed our discipline-cross advantages, looked forward to accelerating the preparation of the intelligent emergency management Business School, and in the wisdom emergency management Business School platform to carry out more in-depth high-level cooperation.
