The Executive Development Programs Training and Development Center of the Business School Held the 2021 Year-end Report and Assessment Meeting

On the afternoon of January 20, 2022, the Executive development programs training and development center of the business school held the 2021 year-end work report and assessment meeting in room 703, Building B of Economy & Management Building. GE Yuhui, executive deputy director of the executive development programs training and development center, ZHANG Baoming, director of the general office of the executive development programs training and development center, and all staff of the center attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the teaching staff of the center summarized and reported the work of 2021 respectively, and put forward the work objectives and plans of 2022 in combination with their own work. In 2021, under the correct leadership of the leaders of the school and the center, against the background of the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, the EDP center overcame many difficulties, set up a total of 10 various training programs, and trained 410 students offline and more than 1000 students online. Among them, 7 social training projects and 2 skill training projects such as Python computer language programming were carried out. At the same time, the center actively carried out online public welfare training projects and held 12 special open courses on investment promotion. In addition, the EDP center held several exchange activities for entrepreneurs and human resources executives, established cooperation with many excellent units, and signed strategic cooperation agreements.

Subsequently, the participants exchanged ideas. The two leaders praised and affirmed the work done by each staff. At the same time, according to the focus of everyone’s work, they also exchanged and discussed from the aspects of curriculum design, publicity and enrollment, teaching plan, student management, alumni management, internationalization program and so on.

In his concluding speech, deputy director GE Yuhui fully affirmed the breakthroughs and achievements made by the EDP center in 2021, thanked the staff of the center for their hard work in the past year, and put forward several opinions and requirements for future work: (1) 2022 is a year for EDP center to change from start-up to rapid development, the number of various training programs and the number of trainees in the center should make greater breakthroughs and progress; (2) We should strengthen the recruitment and publicity work of various training projects, strengthen the construction of the EDP center's official account, and launch the brand of the EDP center. (3) We should strengthen the learning and reference of the experience of other universities; (4) We should strengthen the sense of initiative, have a keen sense of current affairs and hot issues, and take the initiative to attract key enterprises; (5) We should systematically analyze and summarize the experience and shortcomings of 2021, fully implement the work plan of 2022, and look forward to the development plan of 2023; (6) We should strengthen the construction of online training platform and carry out online and offline mixed teaching mode; (7) We should actively promote the work of focusing on the internationalization of the program, and strive to implement and carry out international training and development program in 2022.
