On the morning of July 18, the meeting on the advancement of digital economy industry innovation cluster development in Kunshan Huaqiao Economic Development Zone was held at the Huaqiao International Expo Center. Personnel from government departments, renowned experts, senior leaders of digital economy enterprises and other guests gathered together around the theme of Digital Intelligence Empowerment, Chain of Huaqiao reaching a new blueprint for development and seeking a new chapter of cooperation. Li Jiancheng, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, vice president of Wuhan University, Chen Liyan, mayor of Kunshan City, Shen Yiping, city leaders, Li Hui, Standing Committee of Kunshan Municipal Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, Director of the Management Committee, attended the meeting.
At the advancement meeting, five experts from well-known universities, research institutes and industries, including Professor Fan Chongjun, Director of the Department of Information Management and Information Systems and Director of the Artificial Intelligence Research Center from our school, were firstly appointed as members of the digital economy think tank in Huaqiao.
In recent years, Huaqiao has taken on the mission of building a digital economy experimental zone, fully cooperated with Shanghai's international digital capital and digital Suzhou construction, and formed a 7+1 industry development digital economy ecosystem with modern service industry as the core, including digital finance, health, commerce, information, cultural tourism, transportation, aerospace and intellectual reform digital transfer.
In order to accelerate the integration of the digital economy and the real economy, Huaqiao Digital Economy Industry Innovation Alliance was launched, which will fully implement the 1+3+N common framework and sharing mechanism, unite the government, enterprises, funds, institutes, think tanks, and others as N elements, build internal and external linkage, up and down connection, and jointly develop the Huaqiao digital economy industry ecosystem and strong magnetic field.
