The Hujiang Economics and Management Forum Series (110th Session) was Successfully Held

On May 22nd,the Hujiang Economics and Management Forum Series (110th Session) was successfully held in the lecture hall of the second conference room on the fourth floor of Building A of the Economic Management Building. Yang Yuying, a lecturer in the Department of Industrial Engineering, gave an academic report titled Energy Issues: Starting from Barbecue.

The report introduces the widespread and important use of energy in daily life, as well as the relationship between the types of energy and human historical development, from Zibo Barbecue. It explains the importance of energy in government management in different countries from energy institutions such as the National Energy Administration, OPEC, and IEA. Combining energy production and consumption structure, it explains that the main problem of energy in China is the impact of large energy consumption and coal dominated energy structure on the environment. The proposal of the dual carbon strategy has also sparked a lot of research, and carbon emission measurement is an important research question.

Finally, Associate Professor Wei Hairui from the Department of Industrial Engineering gave a review of the lecture, and the attending teachers and students had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the content of the report.
