On June 12, the Hujiang Economics and Management Forum Series (114th Session) was successfully held in A910. Associate Professor Liu Yong from the Department of Information Management and Information Systems delivered an academic report titled Advances in Multi-objective Optimization Algorithms. The event attracted many faculty and students, resulting in a full house.

In the report, Liu Yong detailed the basic concepts and development of multi-objective optimization algorithms, with a focus on analyzing the NSGA-II algorithm for multi-objective optimization problems. Through numerous examples, he demonstrated its effectiveness in solving complex issues, proving the algorithm's significant advantages, particularly in handling intricate multi-objective tasks. The report also outlined the specific applications of multi-objective optimization algorithms in various fields, such as emergency management, supply chain optimization, and intelligent manufacturing.

In conclusion, Professor Zhang Huizhen from the Department of Information Management and Information Systems reviewed the lecture. She emphasized the significant role that multi-objective optimization algorithms play in both theory and practical applications. Attendees, including both faculty and students, engaged in in-depth discussions about the report's content and expressed great interest in the future research directions of multi-objective optimization algorithms, creating a lively atmosphere.
